Layout is used in 2D and 3D animation, but I specialize in the first. The selection below shows establishing shots (opening shots) as well as multi-layered layout designs in various traditional and digital techniques. I have both drafted the designs as well as and the background painting by myself (with one exception: for the bakery scene I was only responsible for the lighting concept which I did using watercolour washes and a few digital touch-ups in Photoshop).
